2 Year Warranty Coverage

Onkyo Philippines warrants its products, subject to the following terms and conditions below, to be free from defects in materials and workmanship.

Online Registration

The 2-Year Extended Warranty is applicable for items purchased on or after January 1, 2025. Items purchased prior to this date are not eligible but are still covered by statutory warranty rights. The warranty is valid only for registered products with proof of purchase. The receipt or invoice must include the purchase date, model details, and authorized dealer information, and the original receipt is required for any warranty claims.

The warranty is exclusive to the original owner and cannot be transferred. It is valid only in the original country of purchase. Repairs or replacements are the exclusive remedies provided, and Onkyo is not liable for incidental or consequential damages. The warranty does not replace statutory consumer rights but offers additional benefits.

Claims with incorrect or mismatched purchase information will be immediately invalidated. Warranty terms are subject to change, and updates will be reflected on this page. Customers are advised to check with their dealer or local distributor for the latest details.

Keep your receipt or invoice safe and ensure accurate registration to avoid invalidating claims.​

To qualify for the extended 2 year warranty, you must register your product within ninety (90) calendar days from the date of purchase.

Exclusions

The following items are excluded from the Onkyo warranty. Normal wear and tear and cosmetic damage, including but not limited to wear from reasonable use, environmental deterioration, or neglect, are not covered. Products on which the serial number has been removed, altered, or made illegible are ineligible for warranty claims. Items not purchased from an authorized Onkyo dealer, or products that were not new at the time of original purchase, are excluded. Products sold "as is," "as seen," or "with faults" are also not covered.

Products not purchased from an authorized dealer or distributor within the region of the claim, such as parallel imports or grey market products, are excluded. Accidental damage or faults caused by commercial use, acts of God, incorrect installation, connection, or packaging, misuse, or careless handling that does not follow user instructions are not eligible for warranty coverage. Equipment operated in conjunction with unsuitable, inappropriate, or faulty apparatus is excluded.

Repairs, alterations, or modifications made by parties other than Onkyo or its authorized service partners are not covered. Damage incurred during transit that falls outside the responsibility of Onkyo, its authorized distributor, or dealer, such as those covered by transit insurance, is excluded. Faults resulting from abnormal or inappropriate power supply voltage, power surges, extremities in temperature, exposure to heat, water, liquids, insects, sand, excessive moisture, chemicals, battery leakage, or other contaminants are not covered.

Any damage caused by force majeure events, including but not limited to acts of God, fire, lightning, typhoons, storms, earthquakes, hurricanes, natural disasters, tsunamis, floods, wars, riots, or public disturbances, is excluded. Any other causes beyond the reasonable control of Onkyo and its authorized distributor are not covered under the warranty.

Items purchased before January 1, 2025, are not eligible for the extended warranty claim. Certain models are also not included in the extended warranty program. Please contact Onkyo for any questions regarding excluded models. Statutory rights are not affected.

Present the limited warranty certificate provided during the registration of your product’s extended warranty offer.

Do not dispatch goods without prior agreement from the dealer, distributor, or authorized service center. If you are asked to return a product for inspection or repair, pack it carefully in the original carton or packaging or use equivalent protective materials. Return the product via an insured, trackable courier service to ensure safe transit.

The authorized dealer or distributor will provide return instructions. Improper packaging during the return process may void the warranty. If required, Onkyo or the authorized distributor, dealer, or service center may charge for the supply of suitable packaging for the return of the repaired item.

Important Notes:

  • Insurance is recommended, as goods are returned at the owner's risk.

  • Authorized distributors or service centers cannot be held liable for loss or damage during transit.

  • Insurance and freight charges for the return journey will be covered by Onkyo, the authorized dealer, distributor, or service center if corrective work is necessary.

If no fault is found or no repair is required, the return shipping charge will be the responsibility of the owner.

How to Claim

All repairs will be conducted by the appointed distributor or an authorized local service center. Repairs carried out without prior authorization or approval from the appointed representative are excluded from this limited warranty. Onkyo does not supply parts or replacement items to any entity other than the official distributor or authorized service center.

Other than the warranty and services explicitly provided, Onkyo shall not be liable, to the fullest extent permitted by law, for:

  • Any loss, damages, or malfunctions caused to products connected to any item covered by this warranty.
  • Any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or other damages or liabilities arising from or related to the installation, delivery, use, service, repair, replacement, or maintenance of the product.
  • Any damages, losses, or liabilities arising from acts, omissions, or negligence of technicians, employees, agents, representatives, or independent contractors in the course of performing or attempting to perform obligations under this warranty.
